National Top Club Champions!


Congratulations to our ladies and gents who are the EIBA Top Club Champions for the second consecutive year!


Swale competed in the finals at York and District IBC on Saturday 29th April 2017, where they faced Denny Cup Champions Kingsthorpe in the Semi-Final. Swale squeezed through on shots, 78-63, after the points were shared at eight-a-piece.


The Final then followed against Clarrie Dunbar and, as to be expected, the final was also a close battle, with Swale eventually winning 10-6 on points. 


Well done Swale for becoming the only club to win the competition more than once and to successfully retain the trophy.

This year's club finals will be held from 17th to 21st April 2017.

National U25 Double Rink Champions! 


Congratulations to our U25 squad who are EIBA National U25 Double Rink Champions for 2016/17. 


Our youngsters competed in the Finals at Nottingham IBC on Saturday 8th April 2017, where they faced St Neots in the Semi-Final and were victorious with a 39-21 win. 


The Final then followed against old rivals Torquay United. As to be expected the final was a tense battle, with the difference being only two shots at one stage, but a late surge saw our young stars victorious with a 30-24 win!

County Triples Champions!


Congratulations to Sue Mannering, Sandy Hazell and Wendy King on winning the KCLIBA Triples for the third consecutive year. 


The Swale trio beat Jean Jordana, Val Quinlan and Doreen Taylor from Bromley IBC 23-5 in the Final held at White Oak IBC on Sunday. 


Well done ladies!

County U18's Singles Champion!


Congratulations to Imogen Jenner who has won the KCLIBA U18's Singles.


Imogen beat Folkestone player Leah Bamford 21-9 in Sunday's Final held at White Oak IBC.

National Ladies Pairs Champions!


Congratulations to Sandy Hazell and Wendy King who are the EIBA National Ladies Pairs Champions for 2016/17.


The star duo beat Carole Galletly and Katherine Hawes, from Banbury, 21-8 in the final at Melton Mowbray. 


Despite an impressive record, this is the first time the England pair have won the National Pairs title.

U25 Team Through to National Finals!


Well done to our U25 Double Rink team who are though to the national finals at Nottingham IBC on Saturday 8th April 2017. 


Swale overcame a strong Wey Valley side in the Quarter Final on Sunday with a convincing 34-20 win. 


Swale now play St Neots, from Cambridgeshire, in the Semi Final at 1.30pm and, if successful, the final will follow at 6pm.

King Selected for Commonwealth Games Elite Squad


Swale and England star Wendy King has been named in Bowls England's Elite Squad for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. 


Wendy will be travelling to the Gold Coast of Australia in April to participate in a series of test matches against the host nation, Australia, and other teams from around the world.

National Mixed Pairs Champions!


Congratulations to Sandy Hazell and Perry Martin who are the EIBA National Mixed Pairs Champions for 2016/17. 


The Swale duo beat Kirsty Hembrow and Robert Paxton, from Taunton Deane, 22-5 in the final at Loddon Vale, Basingstoke.


Well done Sandy and Perry!

Honnor wins Ipswich Open


Congratulations to Ian Honnor on winning the Ipswich Open singles competition, beating fellow Kent bowler Pat Briscoe in the final. 


The Ipswich Open is part of the popular UK Open Singles Circuit.

Aero Bowls Demo Day


A big thank you to everyone who supported the Aero Bowls Demo Day held at Swale IBC on Friday 11th February 2017.


The day was a big success and may result in more events like this coming to Swale.
